Dominic has 25 years combined experience in commercial sports marketing and technology most recently consulting with Corporate innovation projects in Sport and mentoring Founders in their venture development. Through Proportion.Co he and his network of partners and agencies have created, innovated and lead on projects supporting clients in the UK, EMEA and on both coasts of the United States of America to better engage and retain their customers.
Whilst within British Telecom (BT) Markets Ventures he advised Group on a combined technology and sustainable Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) consumer marketing strategy for the London 2012 Olympic Games. In addition, Dominic established five new ventures and business partnerships allowing BT both organic and inorganic strategic options for growth.
He is a leading authority on the commercialisation of new business concepts, executing on data & content marketing and CRM strategies, forging partnerships, brand activation and expansion into new markets. He has previously held Non-Executive Director positions with a European sports marketing agency and two social enterprise organisations.
He was the youngest executive director of a London based Premier League football club advising on marketing communication resulting in both new revenue and a deepened engagement between the Club and its passionate fanbase. Earlier in his career he held senior positions within the industry and has overseen more than £100M of commercial revenues in this sector.
Dominic has advised many Sports Clubs both at Professional and grassroots levels as well as some of the biggest global sports governing bodies, and their sponsor Brands, on marketing and technology innovation.
He is also very proud to have assisted the UK Government, the Police Central E-Crime Unit and the London Organising Committee for the Olympic Games (LOCOG) with their London 2012 Cyber Crime strategy and development programmes.
